Greetings from Amissville Baptist Church. This website represents lives changed by the saving grace of a loving God; people who are willing to take the responsibility of fulfilling His call as Church, Community, and People. Our church mission is to exalt the Savior, equip the saints, and evangelize the sinner.  We are a pilgrim family journeying in this world in an attempt to not only share the Good News, but to be the Good News. Though we do not claim perfection, we acknowledge that the source of eternal life is found in the redemptive love of God through a personal relationship with His Son and our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

We firmly assert that our diversity of backgrounds, spiritual gifts, and talents endows and nurtures our unity. The exercise of these gifts allows us to successfully minister as the Body of Christ in this world. Though Amissville Baptist church has a wonderfully varied history dating back to 1888, we believe that our greatest history has yet to be written.

We pray that these pages will serve as an introduction to friends we have yet to meet as well as a reminder of who we are as we pray, worship, minister, and serve with each other on this journey with God.
