Sunday School at Amissville Baptist Church is about reaching others for
Christ and teaching God’s Word in a friendly, small-group environment. As
Christians, we need help practically applying the teachings of Jesus and
God’s Word in our daily lives. In Sunday School you will find not only
that application of the Bible to everyday life, but also the special
support of those who want to minister to you and with you.
You can
connect with a group of people of the same age who share the same
struggles and life goals. You can find friends, be encouraged, and grow
in your faith.
Our many
classes run from infants through senior adults. Children’s and youth
classes are all age-graded while adult classes are age-graded and/or
topic-driven.
We have a
class for you and everyone in your family!
Classes

CHILDREN'S CLASSES:
Nursery - Infant to 18 months
Pre-School - 18 months to 4 years old
Learners - Kindergarten to 2nd graders
Discovers - 3rd to 5th graders
Jr. High - 6th to 8th graders
Sr. High - 9th to 12th graders
ADULT CLASSES:
Young
Adult-High School
graduates and up. Concentration: A younger generation or young at heart and
new Christians.
Bethany-All
adult ages. Concentration: Traditional class with life application lessons.
A family atmosphere.
Truthseekers/Bereans-All
adult ages. Concentration: Traditional with a walk through the Bible one
book at a time. Occasional use of alternative materials. Casual atmosphere.
Pathfinders-All adult
ages. Concentration: Non-traditional with an emphasis on in depth study.
More of an institutional teaching and study path.
Lightbearers-Senior
adult and of course all ages welcomed.
Concentration: Traditional with emphasis on both life lessons and Bible
Doctrine.
